To all and sundry,

I haven’t been out performing in public the past couple of weeks because I’ve sustained some hand injuries - basically over-working in the street, and over-practicing a bunch of new material I’ve written - including some classical pieces for the new solo piano album! - Mild carpal tunnel in my left and a bit of tendonitis in my right elbow. It's unfortunate because I need to play in the park, lakeshore, and the BART to keep the roof above my head and at times, as Im SURE you’ve seen, I really give it the gas. This is pretty hard on the joints over the course of 6/7 hrs, then several days in a row, and then compounded during the week by many hours of practice. I’ve been burning the candle at both ends.

HOWEVER, you gotta make lemonade out of lemons! So, during this period, I managed to finalize, publish, and print TWO NEW solo piano songs which will be on the next solo piano album (out this year). I made a “single” album here on bandcamp where you can listen/buy/collect the demos (reference tracks) and the accompanying sheet music. The books are beautiful - designed, printed, and written by yours truly & of course the collective I’m part of (Handsmade, OAKLAND CA).

Hope you enjoy the new material and if you can, purchase some merch! It would really help me make ends meet during the down time. I really appreciate all of your past and present support, I am overwhelmed constantly. I know everyone is asking for money these days (especially all the dem campaigns). Just know that your money is going to a good place and providing me with the ability to heal, continue to perform in public, and to write new music. I can’t wait for the ACTUAL new solo piano album to be out - just gotta record it at this point - AND --- I’LL BE PLAYING THE BECHSTEIN!
